was listening to this in the bus back home just now, and it has always been my favorite. Be it the lyrics or music, this is a meaningful song.
A chance for explanation, a chance for forgiveness, a chance for a change, a world of chances that are given to us, that one chance can make a difference but it is all up to you to make that difference if not it’s just an empty promise for yourself.
A chance for me to shout out, however i’m unable to do so. Maybe being a coward, fear of losing. Though my confidence has been shaken, however i dare to say that i’m not stupid though dumb at such thing. Being observant enough that i start to jump into conclusions, even though being ignorant is the comfort. Closing my eye, pretending that is okay isn’t really helping.
Do i have the right? Do i have the say? Or am i just calculative? I’ve a bad habit, which i tend to give excuses to cover up, thus now i should listen and change not giving excuses which is a useless self-defense.
Even the strongest person will feel insecure at times. This is the stage when we learn to be even stronger and confident. :)
“World Of Chances”
You’ve got a face for a smile you know
A shame you waste it when you’re breaking me slowly
But I’ve got a world of chances for you
I’ve got a world of chances for you,
I’ve got a world of chances,
Chances that you’re burning through
I’ve got a paper and pen
I go to write you goodbye and that’s when I know
I’ve got a world of chances for you,
I’ve got a world of chances for you,
I’ve got a world of chances,
Chances that you’re burning through
Oh, I’m going my own way
My faith has lost its strength again
Oh, it’s been too hard to say
We’ve fallen off the edge again
We’re at an end
We’re at an end
Maybe you’ll call me someday
Hear the operator sat the number’s no good and that
She had a world of chances for you,
She had a world of chances for you,
She had a world of chances,
Chances you were burning through
You’ve got a face for a smile you know
